This is a divided back colorized postcard of the old State Capitol. On the back is printed a statement on how modern Benicia has become become we have macadamized roads. The postmark is 03/17/1910 in Benicia. The back is addressed to Mr. Howard W. Davis in Berkeley, CA. The message is "class to Bineky hey? Well I guess yes. Bert. A postit on the card says this was, "from Doc White to my father". The card is published by Frank Stumm of Benicia.
Howard Wetmore Davis is the child of Daisy (06/15/1863) and John Frederick Davis and was born in Benicia. Howard was born in Benicia 03/26/1884 and died 12/27/1955. He is buried in the city cemetery in Benicia.Collection
