This is a divided back postcard of St Catherine's Convent in Benicia. The postmark is 11/30/1907 in Benicia and Berkeley. The back is addressed to Mrs Daisy Dobbins in Berkeley, CA. The message just asks when Daisy can come to visit. The card was published by Frank Stumm of Benicia.
Daisy Dobbins is the third child of Harriet (Wetmore) Jones and John Wesley Jones. Her father John Wesley Jones established a pharmacy in Benicia and was an associate of Dr. Peabody. Daisy was born 06/15/1863. She first married John Frederick Davis in Benicia on 06/08/1883. Her second marriage was to Horace Jefferson Dobbins in S.F. on 06/04/1898. Howard Wetmore Davis (03/26/1884) is the child of Daisy (06/15/1863) and John Frederick Davis and was born in Benicia.Collection
