Benicia Ca. Panorama of Army Point and Clock Tower and train. U.S. Arsenal in Foreground. Sender describes his travels in this area. July 2nd 1906. To Mrs. Daisy Dobbins in Vacaville. Undivided postcard. Postcard is by Frank Stumm, printed in Germany. The locomotive seen in the distance is a 3001 Class A-1 steam engine built by Baldwin Locomotive Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in August 1902. It was serial number 20795 and operated by the Southern Pacific Railroad. It was retired on December 31, 1924, and scrapped at West Oakland on August 21, 1926.
