This is a photograph of the Benicia hose cart being pulled on First St. and J street. There is a business behind them with part of the sign visible. It says "Funeral Parlors". There are several women watching from the sidewalk and a young girl sitting on the curb. The back has "Stumm" written as the photographer.
The postcard is a divided back postcard with a stamp box showing "Velox and with diamonds in the corner. This would indicate a date of 1907 to 1914.Collection
