This is a photograph of the Benicia hose cart being pulled on First St near H street. A couple of the men have a "B" on their shirt indicating they are from Benicia High School. There are flags and bunting on the street indicating a 4th of July celebration. There are many people watching from the sidewalk. Someone has written "Stumm" on the back indicating that he is the photographer.
The postcard is a divided back postcard with a stamp box showing "Velox and with diamonds in the corner. This would indicate a date of 1907 to 1914.Collection
