B/W Photograph originally under glass in a brown frame with gold trim. The photograph is glued to a mat board. It is of a wood-framed building with two stories on a corner lot with second-floor railed porch. The caption reads: "Washington House was erected in 1850 and housed some members of the state legislature during this period when Benicia served as the state's third capital. In its colorful history it has served as a hotel, a Chinese lottery, a speakeasy, a bordello, an artist's studio, and now as an antique shop and restaurant. " In 2014 it is being used mainly by Kinder's Meats/Deli and other small shops.Collection
