B/W Photograph: This lovely house of Gothic Revival architecture is one of the oldest and historically important houses in Benicia. The house was prefabricated in the East and shipped... to Benicia in 1849. The first occupants (1850-1854) were Capt. John B. Frisbie and his wife Epifania (Fanny). Fanny was the first daughter of General and Mrs. M.G. Vallejo. It was next occupied by ... John Walsh and his family (1854-1884). Photograph shows home when it was in a state of disrepair. It was restored and opened at the Capt. Walsh Bed & Breakfast Inn.Collection
