B/W Photograph from the 1979 Third of July Torch Light/First Annual Sister City Celebration Parade. The parade route was from the foot of First Street north to the City Park. This photograph is of a "float" honoring the Sister City, Tula, Mexico and the name sake of the town, Dona Benicia Vallejo. The sponsor is The Benicia Historical Society and the sign on the front reads: "Dona Benicia / 1815 1891 / Our First / American / From the South".
