B/W photograph - written on the back in pencil: "Mrs. Massles' House, July 4, 1911, a dwelling house saloon below". In the 1920 and 1930 census this house is shown as being at 815 First St. Benicia. In a newspaper item from 05/1904 the saloon is mentioned that was owned by Richard Massle and that next door was his cigar factory which made "Gem" cigars.Collection
