Sepia toned photocopy of home at 280 East J Street. Information from a real estate flyer when the house was sold in 2009: Built in 1850, on .43 acre, legend has it that this home was dismantled in New Hampshire and brought around the horn where it was reconstructed at its present location for Lewis Sanborn. It is also told that Governor Bigler stayed in the home the night before his inauguration for his second term. It is claimed the home has been owned by only 3 families since it was built. In 1955 James O. Milburn bought the home and raised his family there. At time of sale (2009) it had 5 bedrooms and 3 baths and 3,328 sq ft.Collection
