Note: The stag bolts (3 of them) at left end of the picture were placed on the building following 1906 earthquake. We had no idea when this picture was taken I remember when Al Christie got killed just opposite where hose team picture was taken. He was driving a team of horse, hitched to a high panel type rig hit a chuck hole in street, fell to the street, and was killed --- date, I do not know. 1969Collection
