Color Photograph: 577 East I Street Benicia CA Parcel No: 89-071-10 Gable Roof Cottage Built circa 1880 Owner at the time (1986) thought the cottage was built in 1894. He was rebuilding it. "The Italianate sunburst arches over his windoes wre not uncovered by him but are of his own manufacture because he thought they looked nice. While decidedly "funky" he does have a small interior door that appears to be rosewood." In the back yard there is a base of a windmill and water tower surrounded with a brick-paved area which is said to be local brick.
