Studio portrait of Reverend Burton M Palmer taken in 1899. He graduated from Stanford in 1897. He was the pastor in Benicia by 1899. He married Mable McKay in Benicia, she was a pianist at the church. He left Benicia in 1903/04 for Fruitvale and then was the pastor of the Mayflower Congregational Church about 1912. He was born in 1870 and died in Hayward in 1962 at age 92.Collection
