This photo was taken from the Edward P. Higgins family album. The Higgins family was related to the Wassmann family in Benicia. The wife (Leary) was the sister of Harry Wassmann's mother. He is listed in the 1910 census as a tanner born 1882 and married to Mary E also born 1882. Other information shows her maiden name as Leary. In the 1920 census he is shown as apipe fitter at Mare Island and living at 608 E 2nd in Benicia.
This photo shows three women. Not sure of the location. They are wearing 1920's style dresses.Collection
