On front: SF273-3/26 Benicia, Calif.: Flames, fed by fish oil within the buildngs, destroyed thie two-block long wooden fish cannery here causing an estimated $300,000 loss. Fireboats had to wait for rising tide to battle the blaze with salt water. It was too far out of conrol for fireme to rish using the city's water supply depleted by the drouth.(sic) Credit (Acme Telephoto).
