The caption (in two sections) reads: "The industry of Benicia includes oil refining and automobile assembly (the Mothball Fleet is in background), and there is a thriving market complex (where St. Catherine's Academy once stood). In the nearby park, the bandstand offers ghostly echos of "Seeing Nellie Home" and "You Were Sixteen." On hearing some of today's offerings, the horses hitched near- by would doubtless have torn from the hitching posts and gone whinnying madly down some street."Collection
