Black and white close-up of the eagle and cannon carving above the entrance to the Powder Magazine 10.
Note: John Gomo was not craftsman who carved this sculpture. He lived in New York in 1857 and came to Benicia in May 1859. It was most likely carved by Caleb Merrill or Peter Larseneur who were master masons for construction of Magazine 2, Magazine 10 and the Clock Tower.Collection
