B/W photograph - three men who came from Illinois to work at Benicia Arsenal in 1941.
Left to Right: Robert Marchioni, Hurst Allen, Sylvanus "Bud" Brookman.
The men had been fishing in the water along Benicia's shoreline. They are standing near the trailer court at East Fifth and East M Streets. Mr. Marchioni and his wife lived in one of trailers while their home was being built.
The Marchionis moved to Benicia California in 1941 and lived in the same house for almost 55 years. They both passed in 1996.Collection
