This is a photo of crew for the Benicia ferry boats. The back says that "Dad" is in center. This looks like the men in record 2017.030.1203. If so, then the man in the center is Alexander Wilkie.
If this is Alexander Wilkie he was a ship pilot as shown in the 1920 US Census. He was born in 03/23/1874 in Scotland. He immigrated in 1902 and was naturalized in 1913,. He lived on East G Street with his wife and four kids. He died 11/27/1935 and is buried in the Benicia City cemetery.Collection
