This is a photograph of the Arsenal main gate. It shows the guard shack with someone inside. There is an MP truck parked behind the guard shack that looks to be around 1940s.
There was a new "sentry house" built at the Main Gate in 1937. It was building number 43. This could be that guard house shortly after completion.Collection
