This is a photograph of the Clock Tower. This is building # 29 constructed in 1859. In this photo we see the building after the fire in 1912.
The back tells the story of the Clock Tower. It says built in 1860 but Army says 1859. Mentions the fire in 1912 and being rebuilt in 1914. In 1920's Hall McAllister got permission to add the clock in memory of his uncle Col. Julian McAllister (Commander 1861-1864 and 1867-1886) who oversaw the construction of the original Clock Tower.Collection
