This is a photograph of the Ripsom House in Benicia. This was an early Benicia hotel/boarding house owned by the Ripsom family (see related). Parts of it were eventually incorporated into the Anderson Hotel (see 1937 newspaper). This photo has been cut down and pasted onto a piece of cardboard. There is a small bit of another photo on the back and the words "Fairmont, Nebraska". Assume this was part of a family album.Collection
