This is a photo of a telegraph operator at his key pad. He is wearing sleeve protectors, a vest, a high stiff collar and a pocket watch on a chain. Looks to be about 1890 to 1900.
A recent auction had an advertisement for an ad from Benicia Brewery which had a caption that said:
-“Compliments of Benicia Brewery and Soda Works. Gustav Gnauck, Proprietor. Brewers of Peerless Steam beer Manufactures of Carbonated Waters.” This item was for the month of June in the year 1903. It measures 20” x 15.5” and 29”x 24.5” framed. Little wear. HKA#64657Collection
