The Pacific Mail Steamship Company came to Benicia before 1853 and was located on the waterfront at the end of East H and East 6th Streets. After its shops were closed Baker & Hamilton's Agriculture Works came in 1879. Later the YUBA Company occupied the buildings. At the time of the survey, the owners were Benicia Industries.Collection
