Color Photograph 1121 West 2nd Street Benicia CA Parcel Number 87-161-4 Known as Dr. H. White house and later Marlene Dean's House This residence is a 1-1/2 story Craftsman Bungalow. The structure is "T" shaped formed from two intersecting gables. The roofline shows both exposed rafters and beams. The wood frame, wood shingled unit sits on a raised basement faced with large river stones. A two-windowed dormer extends on either side of the intersecting section. The rustic home is faced with multipaned rectangular windows. A small porch extends off the front door (located on the western end of the intersected gables) and is covered by open beams. The porch roof is supported by elephantine columns. A small bay with windows confines the porch to the south. A low segmented wall of large river stones frames the home to the street.
