It was built in the 1920's and known as Hoffman's Garage for a period of time. In 1969 it became Pier Group Antiques and then was used as artists' studios. Margaret Martin purchased and took it over in 1976. She had plans to turn the main building into business shops. For a time a hair salon, a baby clothhing shop and other businesses occupied the area. She used a smaller building in the rear as her residence.Collection
