This Craftsman one story gable roofed bungalow has a pedimented, boxed cornice which incorporates a low hipped roof portico over the centered front entrance. There are triple wood frame front windows on either side of the front door. The exterior sheathing is wood shingle. The house sits on a knoll with brick steps leading to the house.
This house is a well maintained 1930's era bungalow on a street with several Italianates and a Queen Anne. It is across the street from the old Ripson House/Anderson Hotel. There were two residences here in 1899 but they do not appear to be either 181 or 185 West F.Collection
