This classic old Rail Road Station was built in 1868 in Vallejo. The station was moved by barge from its original site at the foot of Lemon Street, Vallejo, to its current location in 1962 by original owner Russ Blanchard.
The old Central Pacific building is basically constructed in the Gothic Revival style, with exemplary Gothic Revival ribbon window mouldings and cornice detailing. The upper level balcony/veranda was built in 1918; the iron roof corner supports were added circa 1900, and the roof peak braces were installed in the 1940's. The lower level windows were added in 1962, following the move.Collection
