The two sections of this brick building were built in 1936-37 on the site of the 1870's Palace Hotel, which burned in the early 1930's. William Dykes, Editor/Publisher 1919-1936, is believed to have designed the building. Dr. Crisp had his medical offices in this section and was a well known local physician.
The right side of a one-story multi-colored brick structure. It is flat roofed with one course decorated parapet. This section has a double semi-shallow porch entrance supported by brick columns. The off-center door and two windows repeat the semi-circular shape and are trimmed with a header bond pattern.Collection
