Italianate Commercial
Common Name: Pacifica Pizza
Modest classiacl wood storefront with entablature fairly intact, has been remodeled at street level with storefront panel windows/butt glazed corners at bevel-recessed entry. Wooden trim sills and panelwork under windows coordinate with entablature, but lack of window definition has created a strange "floating" condition for upper woodwork/level.
Member of a cluster of buildings on 900 block of First Street, all Italianate/classical wood storefront buildings. These buildings represent a prototypical element of Benicia's "main street".Collection
