B/W Photograph: head and shoulders view of middle aged man with graying hair. Typed copy glued on back: " Newly assigned to duty at Benicia Arsenal is Chief Warrant Officer William W. Spaugh, a veteran of more than 20 years service in the Army. Mr. Spaugh came to the Arsenal directly from Letterman Army Hospital, where he had been a patient following three years of duty at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland. During World War II Mr. Spaugh spent a total of 30 months overseas in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. He has been assigned to duty with the depot maintenance division at the arsenal.", "CWO Spaugh" in red pencil.
