Scope and Content

This is the program for the dedication of a marker in the Benicia City cemetery for Mary Ann Lane. It was held on 10/04/2004 and sponsered by the Benicia Historical Society. Mary A. Lane was born probably 02/14/1830 in Missouri. She came to Benicia in 1872 and made her home on the SW corner of West "I" and Second streets with her son Dorsey Ross, his wife and daughter. Mary lived to be over 100 years old.
