Scope and Content

This is a receipt for cargo being transported on the ship Lizzie Theresa from San Francisco to Bird's Landing for the company Bird and Dinkelspiel. (The Bird and Dinkelspiel Store in Birds Landing, California was built in 1875. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. It is currently not in use. ) The receipt is dated 12/29/1876. This ship may be the same ship that is later run by the Dillingham family and called the Theresa (2008.015.0006.)
