Scope and Content

This is a report on Benicia State Recreation Area near Benicia, Ca. It was done in April, 1988 by Leigh Jordan, Curator II for Jim Woodward, State Archeologist of the Department of Parks and Recreation. It gives a summary of the history of this area including families that lived in the area. The final conclusion is that because of possible " unrecorded prehistoric and historical cultural resources in the unsurveyed parts of the project.." further field studies should be done.
