This is a resolution by the Solano County Board of Supervisors asking Congress to designate the former Benicia Arsenal as a National Historical Landmark.
The resolution points out that a noted historical architectural historian has described buildings in the Arsenal as "the most outstanding group of 19th century architecture in the West."
NOTE: The Benicia Arsenal was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on 11/07/1976. There are 30 such places in Solano County of which 10 are in Benicia.Collection
