Miner's Scale Set
a. double scale, brass dishes on chains from balance beam; holding ring on top; 10-1/2" long (total); balance beam is 7" across; dishes are 3" in diameter; chains are 6-1/2" long;
b. case, metal with hinged lid; oval shape; 8" long x 3-3/4" wide x 1-1/2" deep;
there is a wooden section in one corner as a holder for the weights; there is a 1-3/8" lid that slides over the opening of the penny weights hole;
c. weights (8): (1) round ten-penny weight, 1" diameter; (1) round five-penny weight, 7/8" diameter; (2) round two-penny weights, 3/4" diameter; (1) one-penny weight, 5/8" diameter;
