Loose page from a scrapbook album. This album contains newspaper articles and photos having to do with baseball teams and people involved with the teams. They date from early 1900's to 1910 or so.
This page is from July 8, 1907. It talks about Grass Valley vs the Gantner & Matterns team. It has a photo that looks like the John Molfino photos. It shows a game being played in Benicia. The article says they played at Glenbrook Park.
The photos that were glued into the scrapbook have been removed to protect them from the acid in the scrapbook pages. The photos are accessioned in the Photo catalogg under the same number as the page but with a letter after the number.Collection
