Loose page from a scrapbook album. This album contains newspaper articles and photos having to do with baseball teams and people involved with the teams. They date from early 1900's to 1910 or so.
This page is from 1907. One side talks about a Grass Valley team game against Carrol & Tiltons team.. The other side talks about James Malone getting a bottle of champagne for the first home run of the season (1906). There is a photo on both sides that looks like a John Molfino baseball photo.
The photos that were glued into the scrapbook have been removed to protect them from the acid in the scrapbook pages. The photos are accessioned in the Photo catalogg under the same number as the page but with a letter after the number.Collection
