Rough plank with gessoed (?) letters painted black "TRANSFER BOAT SOLANO HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. AUTOMOBILES MAY CROSS." Two nails are in one end.
It is 56" length by 7 3/4" wide, depth of 1 1/4". It is very worn, rough with multiple holes. Lettering i very worn, especially at one end.
