Samsonite suitcase, caramel colored. Vintage 1940-1950. Shwayder Bros., Denver Colorado Inside lined in small brown and rust plaid fabric. Two partitions with same fabric separate top and bottom of suitcase, one side of a partition has small gold bar across the top and two fabric straps 5" apart, 1/2" wide. Bottom of outside of suitcase has 10 stickers attached: Fort Lewis, Wash.; Fort Ord, Calif.; Monterey, Calif., Montana; Texas; South Dakota; Wyoming; Colorado; New Mexico; and Iowa. The suitcase measures 18" x 24" x 7 3/4" depth.Collection
