I retired USAF as CWO-4 in 1963. I received the Bronze Star, Far East Air Force in 1952. After serving in Korea I was assigned to Panama. I had requested to fly my family to Panama in my own aircraft. The Pentagon approved the request. I was very busy making all necessary arrangements with our State Dept., AOPA, consulates, and many other details. The trip was an experience of a lifetime."
