Description

WWII Army Wool Tunic Class A Dress; wool "winter" weight, olive green; satin lining on inside shoulders, down the inside front and inside the sleeves; has inside right breast pocket; round brass lapel discs: left: wings and propeller; right: raised "U.S."; epaulets with 5/8" brass eagle buttons on both shoulders; four pockets with 5/8" brass eagle buttons and flaps; four 7/8" brass eagle buttons down the front; faux belt look all around at waist; vent/slit at mid back; left upper sleeve: upper patch is blue with gold wings on a white star with red dot in center: "General Command Unit Patch, Army Air Corps" (If there is a number on the patch then it refers to a specific unit.); lower patch is the insignia/rating for a Staff Sergeant; right upper sleeve: Staff Sergeant patch only.
