Dr. Hoffman Optometrist 1960s Donated by Dr. Dean Steinberger Vying for attention on bustling Ventura Boulevard, the sign’s neon, cateye glasses definitely stood out. The Studio City business kept its vintage sign and retro-looking neon eye wear glowing ’til its end in the early 2000s. All of its neighboring, vintage neon signs from the photo at left have been lost to time. Only Art’s Delicatessen remains on the boulevard.
