A gelatin silver film negative. Two reproductions of an etching of The Grotto of Antiparos in the Cyclades, Greece. The subject of the etching is the Grotto of Antiparos, a cavern 25 or 30 fathoms deep. Lengthy text at the foot of the etching states that it is dedicated to F. Pierpoint Burton Esq., in whose presence it was made by Richard Dalton. Published by Act of Parliament, Feb. 15, 1752.Collection
