A quarter-plate gelatin silver glass plate negative. Studio portrait of a child on a rocking horse (Bernard? Mr Carr's? son). Dated 1879. Painted background of trees, with wooden fence and stile. He wears jacket with lace collar and pleated skirt. He has buttoned boots and a wide hat.
