Stephen Spender was a poet and novelist and David Finn was a public relations executive, co-founder of global public relations firm Ruder Finn and artist. This book is a series of drawings created by Finn, who was inspired by T.S. Eliot's metaphysical poetic sequence "Four Quartets". The paintings illustrated in the book were influenced by images in the poem and were an attempt to "precise the experience" involved.Collection
