Ivy Lee is hailed as a founder of modern public relations, most notable for working closely with the Rockefellers and the first major railroads in the United States. In the beginning of the pamphlet, Lee wrote a brief excerpt on how "The Third Party" by Plato can be correlated with some phases of current American politics at the time of publication.
