Description

A memoir of a former WEPR member and a manger of PR for Monsanto and her professional relationship with Denny Griswold, the founder of PR News.

Context

Gertrude Bailey and Denny Griswold were one of the few women that were active in the public relations industry in the early 70s. According to Bailey, “Denny was asked to make up a list of women executives” to join WEPR and “a few were all she she could find." Griswold believed that the organization would be instrumental in recruiting more women in the public relations field.
