As I expressed to you at the luncheon, the only time I have had the opportunity to perform any professional services for Hallmark, was when our firm opened the Mexican shop on Grand which your father attended and commended our work. Mr. Jack Kaiser was head of the retail store at the time (in the 60's). Since that time no business opportunities have been available for either of the two companies headed by me, in spite of years of effort and a proven track record nationwide. My question to you of would Hallmark adopt my company was sincere. We need business and help just as other firms do. Somehow we have managed to survive 37 years in spite of little or no support locally. Every request that has been sent to Hallmark by me for the past 37 years has been denied, regardless of the nature. I must admit I am beginning to wonder "why." Is it personal? There is nothing in this for me or my business. As National Secretary, I am hosting the committee meeting since it rotates from city to city. May this lengthy letter provide additional information that will be helpful. It would be appreciated if you would consider my request and respond with a positive reply.
