1971 tie-in with F.A.O. Schwarz and J&J Baby Shampoo for patrons at the salon, ranging from their first haircut to about six years old.

Context

Glory Read, a public relations executive, organized a promotional event for J&J Baby Shampoo during the week of June 14–19, 1971. She developed a children’s hair-care program that was sent to J&J in connection with a new barbershop that had opened in the F.A.O. Schwarz toy store, whose target market consisted primarily of young children.
